Four Beasts Arrested In Convenience Store Robbery

Chattanooga police arrest four suspects in a convenience store burglary.

That burglary happened at the Jordan Grocery Store located at 1114 Tunnel Boulevard on August 20th.

Charged with the crime are:

Michael Hicks
Joshua Rucker
Brian Peek
Christopher Bell

They are all charged with burglary, theft over $10,000 and vandalism. Police say there were several thousand dollars in damage to the business in addition to the lottery tickets and cigarettes that were stolen.

Police Blotter: They'll Steal Anything

Diana Hampton told police she was stopped at a red light in the 3900 block of Bonny Oaks Drive when a black male came up to her vehicle and tried to push his way inside.

She said he then started beating on the vehicle and broke the windshield.

The woman said she was able to drive away and the man ran off.

Police said there were several schoolchildren, a couple of construction workers and a salesman at the corner, and none of them saw the alleged incident.

The windshield had a crack, but there was no other damage to the car, police said.

Betty Mays of 12th Avenue said she was sitting inside her house when she heard someone jump into her back yard.

She looked out and saw a black male grab her dog house and throw it over the fence.

He then left with the dog house in what looked like a red Jeep.

Elexia Earls of 26th Street said a man she knows only as "Dookie Butt" came to her residence and started a disorder.

She said she began to dial police, and Dookie Butt took off.

Crime Stoppers: Negro Robbed Mapco

Crime Stoppers needs help in identifying a subject who is wanted for robbing the Mapco at 7022 Shallowford Road on July 31 at 4:30 p.m.

According to the clerk, a black male entered the store and walked around. He approached the clerk, pointed a nickel plated pistol and demanded the money. The clerk recognized the suspect as a regular customer and asked if he was joking. The suspect said no and the clerk handed over about $50. The suspect then demanded more money and lottery tickets. The clerk then complied and gave him more money and “Lucky 7” lottery tickets. The clerk was then told to disappear and went to the back room and waited till the suspect left.

The suspect was described as 5”10 – 6’0 in height, 180–210 pounds, in his mid to late 20’s or early 30’s. He was wearing camouflage pants, a grey T-shirt, a camouflage ball cap and a fake mustache.

An outside witness described the getaway car as a new 2007 – 2009 maroon Ford Focus or Fusion, five-door, with five-spoke rims driven by a black female in her 20’s, medium height, with thin and big hair.

Pair Of Armed Negro Savages Sought For Robbery

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Chattanooga police need your help tracking down two robbery suspects. Police say two suspects committed aggravated robbery on July 28 on North Holtzclaw Avenue near the Quickstop Mart.

Eyewitnesses say one suspect knocked the victim to the ground and struck him in the head, then several others attacked him.

Police say Michael Antoine Boone, 26, is a suspect. He is about 5'7" tall, weighing about 175 pounds. His last known address is North Hawthorne Street. Police are also looking for Randy Johnson. He's about 5'5" and weighs 145 pounds. He has tattoos on both arms. Police say the pair could be armed with a semi automatic pistol.

Police Blotter: Summer In The Big City

In an altercation on S. Watkins Street, Tamekia Reed "freely admitted" to police that she was the aggressor.

It happened upstairs at the apartment of her child's father, Dathan Mitchell.

Ms. Reed said she started punching Mr. Mitchell.

She acknowledged that she also destroyed his cellphone and threw bricks through the front and rear windows on his 1979 Chevrolet El Camino.

She was charged with assault and vandalism.

Shelia Ross of Portland Street said three young black males were in her front yard and she told them to leave.

She said one picked up a bike and threw it through a window of the vacant duplex next door.

A man returned to his car on Shallowford Road and found that a window had been broken out and the GPS taken.

A witness said he saw a black male break the window, then leave in a white car - possibly a Lincoln Town Car.
